The Biram is a traditional musical instrument to which the Boudouma people, bordering Lake Chad threatened with extinction, assign sacred powers. Malam Maman Barka is the last master who holds the mystery and the artistic secret that surrounds the Biram. In his quest for a new disciple, I accompany him in order to know the legends that surround the instrument that makes to dance the waters of the lake and attracts fishes.
