Born in Arlit, Niger in 1988, Amina Weira graduated in documentary filmmaking from the University of Niamey (master 1) and Saint-Louis of Senegal (master 2).

Her short documentary film at the end of her studies C'est possible (26') was selected in many festivals (Cinémas d'Afrique Lausanne, Caméra des champs, Rencontres Sobatè Ouagadougou...). Amina Weira is also an editor and assistant director (Koukan Kourcia, les méditarices by Sani Magori).

Anger in the wind is her first documentary film.
