biography

Eddy Munyaneza was born in Gitéga (Burundi, 1981). Author-director, producer, cameraman and sound engineer. He graduate of the Master 2 Documentary creation at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis of Senegal. In 2008, he directed the film "Burundi, heart of Africa letter in pictures", then in 2010 he directed "History of a hatred missed". The latter has been selected at European and African festivals and has received awards as Special Prize for Human Rights at FESPACO (2011). He has worked in documentary production for UNICEF and UNDP. In July 2012, he co-founded Grands Lacs TV Films Production. « Uncertain future » is his first documentary feature film.
