With a Master II degree in Political Science and International Relations, Thomas has been working since 2013 in the fields of documentary, journalism (Le Monde, Liberation, Sine Mensuel, Nouvel Obs...) and NGOs (project development manager, ACTED-Tchad, advocacy service, Oxfam France).

He has notably worked with director Stephane Mercurio (Quand la Caravane reste, ARTE, 52mn, 2016), directors Joseph Beauregard (Beuve-Mery/De Gaulle, "Le Monde" contre le president, France 5, 52mn, 2014, Du communisme au Fascisme, vie et mort de Jacques Doriot, France 3, 52mn, 2016), Pierre Carles (On revient de loin, 110mn, cinema, 2016), Christophe Otzenberger (Petits Arrangements avec la vie, 2017, ARTE), Philippe Picard and Jerome Lambert (Klaus Barbie, un proces pour memoire, Morgane, 2017) or Valeria Bruni Tedeschi and Yann Coridian (Une jeune femme de 90 ans, ARTE, 85mn, 2016) as assistant director and investigator.

The Hung Camp is his first feature-length documentary film.
