A great utopian epic, this 20th century dream, the birth of a free Basque Country through the life of Telesforo Monzón, who embodied this utopia. He carried it from the 1920s until his death in 1981. His life helps us understand where this independence movement was born and how it survived after Franco's dictatorship.
